Sungma Tea Estate is a tea connoisseur 2nd flush delight. The garden is spread over 307-hectares of immaculate beauty in the Rungbong Valley of Darjeeling, with tea bushes planted from 3500ft to 6000ft above sea level.
The estate is not only credited for producing exceptional teas but also has the added benefit of having a nature reserve within its boundaries compromising of over 3000 pine trees. In addition, different types of grasses, leguminous crop, short height shrubs and tall trees are planted in the fallow land all along the boundaries of the sections.
The geographical position of the estate with its superior elevation ensures the ideal climate for Darjeeling Tea.
