Orange Valley Tea Estate is spread over 347-hectares of the Northern Valley near Darjeeling town. The estate sits on top of the gentle north-east facing Blue Mountain. The predominantly Chinese variety of tea bushes in the garden are planted from 3500 ft to 6000 ft above sea level. These bushes are the source for the muscatel character found in this garden. In the cup, this tea delivers a light delicate infusion that encapsulating the fresh flavours of spring with the grassy floral notes and hints of vine fruits.

Orange Valley Tea Estate belongs to the Bagaria Group who have decades of experience in manufacturing premium quality Tea. The estate sits in its portfolio of premium quality gardens. The family-run business has now been joined by the 2nd generation of the Bagaria family creating a good blend of experience and youth.

This estate was established in 1865 and was earlier known as Bloomfield Tea Garden was renamed Orange Valley Tea Garden when the ownership was transferred from Bloomfield Tea Company to Orange Valley Tea Limited
