Okayti Treasure Gold is produced on the renowned Okayti Tea Estate using only young tea bushes that are no older than 10 years. An early start for the tea pluckers is a must to catch the morning dew on the leaves. They must painstakingly pick only the silvery looking bud between the two leaves to make this tea.
The buds are delicately hand-rolled before being fermented in bright sunshine for six hours which ensures the characteristic fruity taste and bright golden appearance.
This tea is truly blessed by mother nature to impart a unique and extraordinary aroma unmatched anywhere in the world.
