Tea Details

Description

Lapsang Souchong has been a favourite black tea in many European countries. It is believed that this was the first black tea produced in China using the Camellia Sinensis Bohea tea bush variety at the beginning of the 19th Century.
Our Lapsang Souchong is produced in Tong Mu Guan in Xing Village the home of this great tea. True to the nature of a good smoked Lapsang, it possesses top notes of dark chocolate and fragrant tree resins within its warm, smoky character. Subtle, yet deceptively complex, the Tarry Souchong is the strongest of all the Lapsang Souchong varieties, and has an intriguing depth and spirit.
